I’m Giorgi Mdivani, a senior software engineer helping founders turn ambitious ideas into production-ready software and AI products. You work with me. I bring the team when needed.
Most founders I work with do not have an existing team or a legacy system to wrap. The job is to go from a sharp idea to a product in production — without a large outsourced team in the middle.
I’m a senior software and AI engineer with more than a decade shipping production systems — AWS serverless, TypeScript, and the product surface around them. I started Mdivani Agency so founders could work with me directly, then scale delivery without changing who owns the architecture.
Typical background on a call: greenfield SaaS, an AI feature that has to survive real users, or a first cloud architecture that will not need a rewrite in six months.
Mdivani Agency is the studio behind the work, not a traditional development shop. I stay the technical contact. When a product needs more than one senior engineer, I bring trusted people in — without inserting account managers between you and the build.
You work with me
Discovery, architecture, and the critical path are mine. That is the point: a founder gets a senior partner, not a relay of PMs and layered developers.
The agency scales the bench
Extra engineers and specialists join when the scope needs them. I remain accountable for quality, architecture, and what ships.
How I work
Understand → Define → Architect → Build → Launch.
01
Understand
What you are building, who it is for, and the constraint that actually matters — time, risk, regulation, or capital.
02
Define
A sharp product slice. What ships first, what waits, and what would make this the wrong project.
03
Architect
Stack, data, AI boundaries, and the AWS shape that will still make sense after the first fifty users.
04
Build
I implement the critical path. When the work needs more hands, I bring trusted engineers and stay the technical contact.
05
Launch
Production, observability, and a handover you can operate — or we keep building the next slice together.
Testimonials
What collaborators say after shipping with Giorgi.
Published recommendations from people who built with him — one quote at a time.
Giorgi is the best example of what a full-stack engineer should be. He can work in any part of a product's life cycle. From its design, through the backend implementation, the creation of the infrastructure, as well as the visual layer where he can work great both on the web and on mobile.
But even so, what I will always remember most about having worked with him is how easy it is to work with him, always a pleasure, without a doubt he is a great team player.
Giorgi would be an asset to any team and earns my highest recommendation.
I hired George in 2018 as a contractor, and only the second developer I'd hired into my new company - Relative. The plan was for him - as a remote developer on the other side of the world - to help us out for a few weeks while we were under pressure. I was very wrong. George is quite simply one of the most incredible developers I've ever worked with.
I could not speak more highly of George. As a start-up growing extremely quickly as well as being in another country and time-zone, there were a lot of difficult expectations and pressures placed on George but he took them all in stride and was critical to the build, launch and success of our mobile app. Always happy to go the extra mile and able to execute a very high level even no matter what the stresses and circumstances. George's spread of knowledge and skills as well as his ability to adapt/learn/execute on the fly is extremely impressive.
Founders who need someone who can sit in the problem, choose the architecture, and write the first production code.
AI that has to ship
Agents, RAG, and document workflows that are evaluated, observable, and wired into a real product — not a slide.
A senior partner who can grow a team
Start with Giorgi. Add Mdivani Agency engineers when the roadmap is bigger than one person should carry.
Where
Based in Georgia. Working with founders across the UK, US, and internationally.
Remote-first is the default. UK startups are the primary market; the US is a close second. Time zones, English, and production AWS are already how the work happens.

A conversation, not a quote form. Bring the idea, the constraint, and the date you want something in users’ hands.
